To ensure that effort has been made and no Namibian is left behind Namsov Fishing Enterprises in partnership with Bidvest Namibia continue to cement their investment towards the academic and social development of people through the Talent Identification Programme (TIP) of the One Economy Foundation.
As a result, Namsov and Bidvest commitment towards the academic and social development N$450 000 was donated to TIP of the One Economy Foundation recently.
According to a media release by Namsov Fishing Enterprises Chief Sustainable Officer, Tuna Willem, “we take pride in supporting the TIP program for this praiseworthy initiative that aims to build capacity in the Namibian basic education sector and supports the national agenda to become a knowledge-based society.”
“We must seek to ensure that our investment efforts unlock social and economic opportunities that will unlock the learning and earning potential for many more Namibians,” said Willem. One Economy which believes that access to education is one of the most powerful poverty eradication tools and effective way of structurally reducing entrenched inequality will ensure that people reach their true potential.
“We extol One Economy Foundation for their innovative approach towards addressing the social and economic barriers that many of the Namibian people face,” added Willem.
