WOMEN's Premier League log-leaders Saints face some stiff opposition, while DTS could go top of the Men's Premier League log in indoor hockey matches due to take place this weekend.
In the Women's Premier League, Saints have two tough matches in store against Unam at the Windhoek Showgrounds on Friday night and against second-placed NUST at the same venue on Saturday night.
Saints are still unbeaten after winning their first three matches and currently lead the log on 11 points. In the process they also beat the defending champions Windhoek Old Boys A (WOB A) 3-1 to stake their title credentials and make the early running in the league.
Unam have only played one match, but showed that they, too, will be title contenders with a great 7-1 victory against DTS last weekend.
With national captain Maggie Mengo in brilliant form, they streaked into a 5-1 lead at halftime, before easing to a comfortable, bonus-point victory.
Mengo led the way with five goals, while fellow national players Ina Louis and Esther Beukes scored one each.
Saints have quite a young side and are still developing, but players like Tara Myburgh, Kayla Schimming and Carien van Rooyen have grown in confidence, with Schimming scoring four goals and Myburgh two goals in their 9-2 win against DTS last weekend.
