Mrs Tulonga Neputa who bravely rescued a baby from the horrific accident that claimed the lives of 5 people at the north of Windhoek showed the motherhood love when she took the baby that survived in the accident, despite the fellow passengers attempting to restrain her for fear that a fire might break out.

Mrs Neputa without any regard for her own safety in a situation where an extreme risk of a fiery explosion was a distinct possibility, became the symbol of the Namibian spirit of self-sacrifice without any hesitation.
